The Shadow Proves The Sunshine has got to be my all time favorite Switchfoot song. Its one of their older songs in their album Nothing Is Sound; but one of their most meaningful and inspiring as well. I was touched by the particular emotional song.

What this song talks about is our shadows proving our sunshines; to me at least. When there's a shadow there must be a light, when there's bad there must be good. Our hard times, sufferings, and trials prove God's wonderful goodness, unfailing love, and everlasting mercy. Every time I face 'shadows', I will 'hold fast till the break of daylight where, the shadow proves the sunshine'. Every time there's a shadow it's a new opportunity to experience sunshine all over again.

I really love how this song embodies the idea that suffering and pain has a significance and worth; it helps us to appreciate and experience God's amazing love. This is my interpretation and how I relate it to my life.

this is actually a blog post after how long, God knows. Lets dedicate this post to a recent event, school camp. Before you discard this blog post as boring and uninteresting, ask yourself one question, "Is Daniel worth 5 minutes of your time?".

Okay, if you have not closed my blog I am honored. So here goes.

Camp was tiring, stressful, fun, faith-strengthening and most important of all, it drew me closer to God.

It was tiring emotionally and physically to direct games and be the game master in camp. It was physically tiring to run around doing games. It was emotionally tiring to judge the best I could for the games.

Helping to organize camp with Claudia and Charis was an honor and not just saying it for the sake of saying it, but good job guys! And thank you so very much for your help Samuel and Sher-mayne!

Camp was fun because I could spend quality time with my friends, play basketball, sing Switchfoot songs with Derick, Basil and David in the shower, eat Korean/Japanese/Malaysian cup noodles at 10+ at night, worship and learn about God, get sunburned along with everybody, look at the clouds and stand in awe of God's glory with friends, going into alternate universes with Basil and spending 3 complete days with vineyarders.

Camp also strengthened my faith because I saw how my friends were going through the same things as I was going through and went through and it really encouraged me. I saw how God touched kids and teens during night sessions, how He wanted them in their lives. God seemed more real to me in camp and is more real to me now than ever.

Camp drew me closer to God through friends, worship, David's, Ps. Jackie's, and Sher-mayne's sharing. I'm happy that I attended this school camp.

Charlie St. Cloud, not great but good. I watched this movie yesterday and it was quite an enjoyable movie. And while I was watching the movie, in a few scenes Zac Efron's shirt comes off and I realized, Zac Efron is ripped! His six packs are inspirational and impressive. Besides Zac Efron's six packs the movie was okay and quite enjoyable.

Greetings.

Some people are like a morning breeze. When you're around them you get a chilly at the same time totally refreshing feeling running down your spine. And for a moment you feel at peace. It's a sensation like no other.

This morning I woke up at 4:48. And it's a Friday so that means there's school. I've actually done most of the stuff I want to do every morning but don't do. It's 7 o'clock now and I'm writing a blog post to make time fly faster.

But the morning breeze is just fantastic. And to be honest, I prefer the morning breeze over the people. :)

I've just met an amazinnnng girl! I can't tell you her name but being around her is just enough to make my day.

The way she moves and talks is just so darn attractive. Her beautiful black brownish swoooshy hair is the one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. And her face! Oh my gosh her face! Her face is so freakin' awesome there ain't a word for it.

I think I love her! I can't stop thinking about how she totally ignored me when I said "Hi!". It was so sexy!

Hey people! Haven't blogged for a long time so this feels a beeet funny. Well, since I haven't posted for a quite a long time, I'm going to fit everything in one post. Muahahahahahahahhahaha! Don't worry, my posts ain't that long anyway.

Firstly! Guess who just turned 12!? ME! Hehehehehehehe. My birthday was yesterday, it was fun. Spent 30 bucks on the darn arcade. So fun! Now you know if you didn't know! And I don't mind late presents if you're thinking of buying me anything now. Heh Heh.

Okay, birthday notification check.

Secondly! A few new year resolutions for fun.
1. Draw closer to God.
2. Become a better Christian / Person.
3. Be more Gentlemanly.
4. Do well in my studies and in school.
5. Learn lots of cool skills.
Ambitious huh? It may be little, [ people usually say something funny here, lets be different and not write something here. :) ] dot.

That's my partially possible resolutions for 2010.

Thirdly! John Mayer is an awesome guitarist. So inspirational watching him play songs. But he's like a .... it's a crude and bad word so I'll say jerk, that's what people say at least. But, his guitar playing and music is awesome. Thinking of doing a show and tell about John Mayer. :P

Just for your information, this is the number 100 post on my blog! Cool huh? Never mind, anyways! Vacation Bible School, which is VBS just finished! And it was really cool.

I went to Teens this time. And it was really interesting. Had discussions and disagreements (which were really fun 'cuz you get to argue with Chelle :D). Met new people, made new friends, and learned new stuff. I don't know how the Kids one went, but for Me, VBS was really fun.

Update = Well, the Idiot is going to a foreign land. Yup. Going to miss the place I'm going to leave. All the awesome food, awesome friends, and some other awesome stuff. Well, it's for the best. And hope we don't just go there and come back in a few months like all the other crazy doodle rides. Sucks, Sucks, and SUCKS.

Tonight was a big disappointment.. i wasted my hard earned money.. T.T.

Well my brother is playing COD4 right beside me and he is like.. lets put it this way.. his EYEBALLS are in the screen.. and he just won the round! =P
Jared on the LEFT side doing what i don't know... listening to music with his headphones like me =P. Well... back to the Picture, today i went to watch a movie that sucked and after that had stomach ache.. and ate burger king after burger king we went to the arcade. Well the arcade was the best part! I played the sniper game and passed the level that the rest couldnt without scope.. i shot the boss with in the head without the scope in about 4 seconds! MUAHAHAHAHA!!
And the level after that i got to the boss and died because Josh convinced me the hostage was bonus points so i shot the lady and lost health.. so i died at the boss... Jaryl was saying "NOOB SHIAT" all the way while i was pawning bad guys in the game! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Not a very good place to wear nice shoes and if you are sick i suggest you dont go fairs... well my mum was wearing new shoes and it got stepped on a lot......... well I was the one stepping..... i feel bad! T.T Well.... after the fair we went to have dinner at Chili's.. but the line was too long and we decided to go to DOME.... well it was DELICIOUS!! They gave a lot of food and it was really fast and it was delicious.... right now I feel very empty.... without my family.. I'm just used to all the noise i think but right now I just miss my Family and all the laughing and talking and having fun but sometimes its just me downstairs with my computer and just alone .. well I'm with my Grandma downstairs but we cant communicate because I don't know Mandarin or Cantonese and only tiny bit of BM, so right now I miss my family and just felt of blogging it so yeah... have great times with your family while you are still with them are when your gone to work and all busy... so enjoy life now because you can never get back these wonderful moments. Well thats all I have to say.. goodnight.

Hi, I want to post this because LEMONADE IS JUST SIMPLY AMAZING!
Well it is pretty easy and I have a secret recipe of my own.... and my secret lemonade recipe is just SIMPLY AMAZING!! and I'm not going to tell you it.... so go make some lemonade and DRINK!!

Do you want me to tell you a simple way to make lemonade?? Well I just say it anyways....

Steps..
1.Get a cup, sugar, lemon, ice, water.
2.Cut half of the lemon (hw much lemon you want)
3.Put Ice In.. then Water.. Then Squueeeeezzzeeee the lemon and then put sugar in and MIX it!

And you can have a side dish with it too.. chocolate is a wonderful side dish for lemonade.

Well so go make some lemonade!!(don't sqqueeezzzeee the lemon when ur looking at it and get lemon in ur eye and almost cry like me..)

Well... i didn't go to school and Friday and.. on Friday i just stared on my little maple character walking in MAPLESTORY!! Well thats what I did yesterday too.. I missed school on Friday (my favourite day of the week), but didn't do any work~! hehe..

I missed all my school buddies~!! I wanted to go to school on Friday..T_T.. Well Monday I'm not coming BUT!! On Tuesday I am!! WHOOOHOOO!!!

Hi, I have just watched "The Dark Night" and it was really amazing.. but I kinda expected more and did not get that "feeling" i usually have when i really like the movie. But I have to admit the Story Line was extremely good and the ACTING was the best part~!!

And combined 3 villains in just 2 hours and 40 minutes!! Well what they did I think was very good.. and besides i was waiting for this movie for 2 whole months!! And watched it on the first day..xD

Ok.. since i did the points for the other movies here are the points~

Acting WAS AWESOME!!!
Story Line WAS AMAZING!!
EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!!

Hi, i just watched the movie "Journey To The Center Of the Earth"... well it was okiesh.. but i wanted to watch it in 3D but too expensive so.. we watched 2D..T_T..

Well.. the movie was shorter then i expected..

Hi, I have just recently watched "Corpse Bride". I advise you to not watch it, right now you would be wondering why, so I will answer your question, BECAUSE IT SUCKS!!!!

While watching it, I started watching "Oprah Winfrey".. No!!! Don't go thinking sick Basil!!!

While eventually I finished the movie and it sucks hard. Well let me point out the sucky points,

1.Bad Story Line
2.Lame Actors
3.Not Funny (well to me)
4.Freaky
5. It SUCKS..

Well i haven't been online for the past 2 days because my Internet was down.. and sorry Derick i couldn't play wolfteam last night 'coz only now i got back my internet~

And i just got ripped off by my brother selling my a cup with sprite and disgusting lime juice in it for 1 R.M T_T it even made the ice taste so bad until the liquid i just drank wanted to come out of my nose~ i hate josh..well i have to go finnish the movie im watching~ byebye~
